Last Dec. 16, 2008, a Tuesday, we held our last pick-up at the Manila Polo Club Baseball Field for the year to bid farewell to two of our friends, Francis "Fruit" Diano (left) and Philip "Hus Dis Pls?" Decasa (right). Fruit got a job to work for the NBA's New York Knicks (yep, lucky bastard!) while Pipa is migrating with his family to Canada.It was a great turn out as almost everyone showed up to give the two a fitting send-off. Even players from other teams dropped by to say goodbye, even though they didn't play.
We wish Fruit and Pipa the best. See you guys soon!
